Bob Bartlett, MD, FAPWCA, FACEP, UHM, CPE

Bob Bartlett, MDDr. Bartlett is a 1980 Magna cum Laude graduate of the University of South Alabama School of Medicine and is certified in Wound Care, Hyperbaric Medicine, and Emergency Medicine. He is an Associate Professor of Surgery at The Ohio State University, a Certified Independent Medical Examiner, a Diving Medical Officer with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, a Hyperbaric Program Site Surveyor for the Undersea Hyperbaric Medical Society and is the past-President of the American College of Hyperbaric Medicine. He is the Editor in Chief and founding member for the creation of two certification exams. One is the physician exam for hyperbaric medicine and the other is the physician exam for wound care. Educationally, he has participated in the training of more than 3,500 health care professionals in hyperbaric medicine and wound care. In addition to his 30 years of wound care experience, he has also garnered considerable management experience through the creation and direction of several health care companies, one health care foundation, and currently serves as the Senior Clinical Advisor to National Healing and is the Chief Executive Officer for Clinical-Connections.

Dr Bartlett’s role in the executive round table is to provide an overview of the market demand and clinical benefits of a “center based” approach to wound care.  As a Certified Physician Executive he is adept at summarizing and translating large volume of literature in ways that are useful and relevant to the strategic planning of the hospital management team.


Tom Scoggins

Tom ScogginsWith over 40 years of experience in the Healthcare Industry, Tom Scoggins brings a wealth of experience and insight to the management team. His career has included senior management positions with pharmaceuticals, surgical equipment, and the hospital industry. He has received numerous awards and excels in strategic planning and designing programs that meet the customer's needs. In short, Mr. Scoggins understands "client centered" development and service.
Formerly of National Healing Corporation, Scoggins lead the company through it rapid growth over the past 10 years and has a profound understanding of the “value proposition” of a wound healing center and what it means to the hospital and the community.  

Mr. Scoggins role in the executive round table is to walk the audience through the fundamentals of developing a realistic proforma for the establishment of a comprehensive wound center.  In addition he will provide invaluable insights and pearls for a successful startup and program launch.
